"We are not quitters"
AMERICA was given a ray hope for a better future in a powerful and moving speech by their President Barrack Obama in Congress on Tuesday February 24.
It took a little girl's confidence to inspire the world's most powerful man in this gloomy economic times
Ty'Sheoma Bethea an eighth-grade student from South Carolina wrote to the President, borrowed the stamp to mail the letter, for help in repairing her school of which its buidlings were crumbling.
"Because after the stimulus bill was passed, the money was going to places that i thought had, had already enough.
"There were school's that needed help," she said on ABC's Good Morning America
In her letter she stated that she and her fellow students would rise above their conditions because, "We are not quitters."
And that was Obama's bottom-line message to a shaken nation. We are not quitters.
